ROSTOV-ON-DON. March 31 (Interfax) - Four people were killed and one suffered injuries in a Ukrainian artillery strike on Golaya Pristan in the Kherson region, on the left bank of the Dnieper on Thursday, the regional health ministry said in a statement.
"A patient with a mine blast injury was admitted to the Skadovsk Central City Hospital on March 30. The civilian was hurt in an attack on Golaya Pristan. [...] Yesterday's attack on Golaya Pristan also killed four civilians," the ministry said on Telegram on Friday.
The patient's condition is moderately severe, and he is being provided with hospital care, the ministry said.
According to the regional emergency services, Ukrainian tube artillery fired 14 rounds at Golaya Pristan in the afternoon of March 30. Alyoshki, Novaya Kakhovka, Kardashinka, Dnepryany, Geroiskoye, Kazachy Lagerya, Novaya Zburyevka and Peschanovka also came under attack on Thursday. Ukrainian troops fired a total of 65 artillery rounds.
"Information about civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure is being verified," the emergency services said.
Ukrainian forces continued to shell the left bank of the Dnieper early on Friday morning. They fired 42 tube artillery rounds at Novaya Kakhovka, Kakhovka, Velikaya Lepetikha, Tavriysk and Rybalche.
