MOSCOW. March 31 (Interfax) - The Aleksin and Kabardino-Balkaria small antisubmarine ships have practiced firing artillery systems during an exercise in the Baltic Sea, the Baltic Fleet said in a statement on Friday.
"The ships drilled firing AK-176 shipborne artillery systems upon a marine target imitating an enemy warship at a range of about 10 kilometers," it said.
The ships fired artillery rounds both individually and simultaneously, it said.
Baltic Fleet surface ships and vessels maintained security in the area during the artillery firing exercise, it said.
