Putin immediately informed about St. Petersburg cafe blast, blogger Tatarsky's death - Peskov

MOSCOW. April 3 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin was immediately informed about the St. Petersburg cafe blast which killed blogger Vladlen Tatarsky (Maxim Fomin), Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"[Putin] was immediately briefed on this yesterday," Peskov told reporters on Monday.

"It was a terrorist attack. You and I have seen the statement by the National Antiterrorism Committee. An active stage of the investigation is in progress. We are seeing rather intensive efforts towards detaining the suspects. Let us be patient and wait for our security services to make their next statements," Peskov said.
