MOSCOW. April 3 (Interfax) - Thirty-three people were injured in a blast inside a St. Petersburg cafe on Sunday, including two teenagers, the Russian Health Ministry's press service said.
"According to the latest data, 33 people, including two teenagers, were injured and one man was killed in the St. Petersburg cafe incident," the Health Ministry said in a statement.
It was reported previously that 31 people were injured.
Twenty-two people are receiving in-patient care at St. Petersburg hospitals. Eight of them are believed to be in severe condition and 14 in mild and moderate severity conditions, it said.
All the injured are now being provided with all appropriate medical assistance, the ministry said.
As reported earlier, investigators have reclassified the murder case opened after the killing of military reporter Maxim Fomin, aka Vladlen Tatarsky, in the St. Petersburg cafe blast as a terrorist act.
According to investigators, a blast hit a cafe in downtown St. Petersburg on April 2 and killed Tatarsky, leaving more than 30 people injured.
"Darya Trepova has been detained on suspicion of committing the crime. Necessary investigative actions are being conducted with her. The investigation has information that the committed crime was planned and organized from Ukrainian territory," the Russian Investigative Committee said on Monday.
