MOSCOW. April 4 (Interfax) - Moscow's Basmanny District Court is set to hear investigators' motion on taking St. Petersburg resident Darya Trepova into pretrial custody on terrorism charges, in a criminal case dealing with the assassination of reporter Vladlen Tatarsky (Maxim Fomin), the court's press service told Interfax on Tuesday.
"The court has received the investigation's request on taking Trepova into custody as a pretrial restrictive measure until June 2, 2023," it said.
Trepova has been charged with committing a terrorist attack and with the illegal circulation of explosives.
The court will hear the motion on Trepova's arrest in the near future, it said.
Investigators have established that an explosion in a cafe in central St. Petersburg on April 2, 2023, killed Fomin (Tatarsky) and caused injuries of varying degrees to more than 30 other people.
