MOSCOW. April 4 (Interfax) - Moscow's Basmanny District Court has barred visitors and reporters from the hearing of investigators' motion for the arrest of St. Petersburg resident Darya Trepova charged with the terror attack that killed blogger Maxim Fomin, aka Vladlen Tatarsky, an Interfax correspondent said in a report.
"The hearing will be held in camera," Judge Valentina Levashova said, explaining the decision with the need to ensure secrecy of the preliminary investigation.
An investigator asked for the motion hearing to be held in camera. He said that information protected by law, including details of the private lives of parties to the proceeding, might be revealed at the hearing.
Trepova and her lawyers objected to the motion hearing behind closed doors.
Investigators asked the court to arrest Trepova until June 2.
