MOSCOW. April 5 (Interfax) - The Belarusian peace initiative for Ukraine may be discussed during the upcoming negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
Journalists asked Peskov on Wednesday whether the Putin-Lukashenko meeting later today will discuss Lukashenko's peace plan for Ukraine.
"Clearly, if Alexander Grigoryevich [Lukashenko] deems it necessary to give related explanations, they will definitely exchange views," Peskov said.
As for the upcoming meeting, Peskov said it would be held on Wednesday evening and will continue at an informal dinner.
