ROSTOV-ON-DON. April 6 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces mounted a missile strike using HIMARS systems on Melitopol in the early hours of Thursday, a representative for the Zaporozhye region's emergency services told reporters.
"Russian air defense systems were activated. All six HIMARS missiles were shot down," he said.
The strike began at 2:03 a.m. on April 6. According to preliminary reports, it did not cause damage and casualties.
