Sudoplatov Volunteer Battalion to become part of Russian Armed Forces in April - acting head of Zaporozhye region to Putin

MOSCOW. April 6 (Interfax) - The Sudoplatov Volunteer Battalion, established in the Zaporozhye region, will become part of the Russian Armed Forces in April, acting governor of the Zaporozhye region Yevgeny Balitsky said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"The General Staff has given us a status and designated us as Barsa 32. Contracts will be signed later this month, and we will also be provided with weapons this month," Balitsky said.
