MINSK. April 6 (Interfax) - Numerous aspects of the defense industry's development and defense issues were discussed at negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, and every necessary decision was made, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said.
"Vladimir Vladimirovich [Putin] and I held fundamental negotiations yesterday. We discussed what journalists call sensitive issues. There are always such [issues to be discussed]. We focused on security, the development of the defense industry, and the defense of the Union State," Lukashenko said in his opening remarks at a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Russia-Belarus Union State.
Lukashenko described the negotiations with Putin as "fruitful."
"We reached agreement on every issue, and there were more than ten of them. Of course, we did not talk in much detail about the topics. But I think you will hear about and see everything very soon," he said.
