Public prosecutor asks court to give opposition activist Kara-Murza 25 years in high security prison

MOSCOW. April 6 (Interfax) -The public prosecutor has asked the court to sentence opposition activist and journalist Vladimir Kara-Murza, designated as a foreign agent in Russia, to 25 years in a high security penal colony for high treason, cooperation with an undesirable organization and spreading fakes about the actions of the Russian Armed Forces, his attorney Maria Eismont said.

"The prosecutor has asked for 25 years," Eismont told reporters on Thursday.
