ROSTOV-ON-DON. April 7 (Interfax) - The number of people wounded in an attack on Donetsk on Friday afternoon has reached 13, one civilian was killed, Denis Pushilin, acting head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), said.
"The enemy made a strike using MLRS on central Donetsk, in the Kryty Rynok [indoor market] area, in broad daylight, when there were many people on the streets. There is currently information that one person was killed and 13 civilians were wounded," Pushilin said in a statement released by his press service on Friday.
It was reported earlier that one person had been killed and six had been wounded in the attack on the central market in Donetsk.
The city's Mayor Alexei Kulemzin told Interfax that the wounded are receiving all necessary assistance.
The market and the city's residential buildings were damaged in the attack, he said.
