Duma passes bill adding Russia's new regions to Moscow time zone

MOSCOW. April 11 (Interfax) - The State Duma on Tuesday passed a bill putting the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions into the second time zone (same as Moscow, MSK, UTC+3).

In reality, the four territories already use Moscow time, a memo says.

The passage of provisions envisaged by the draft federal law will not entail socioeconomic, financial and other consequences, including for businesses and other economic activity, it said.
