MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax) - Russia has conducted 100 consecutive accident-free space launches for the first time in contemporary history, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"It is good that our rocket and space industry is consistently increasing its potential. One hundred accident-free launches have been conducted consecutively for the first time in contemporary history. This is a very good indicator that the industry is confidently standing on its own feet," Putin said at an event devoted to Cosmonautics Day on Wednesday.
