MOSCOW. April 14 (Interfax) - Russia's Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin has met with the Indian Department of Defense's Special Secretary Nivedita Shukla Verma in Moscow to discuss the prospects for military and military-technical cooperation, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.
"The sides exchanged, through a trust-based dialogue, their opinions on the current areas of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation, and reaffirmed their determination to further strengthen an especially privileged strategic partnership," the statement said.
"The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere that is traditional for Russian-Indian relations," it said.
