MOSCOW. April 14 (Interfax) - Members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) have met in Moscow to discuss international flights of their national armed forces, the joint headquarters of the CSTO stated on Friday.
The attendees "considered, clarified and agreed on the proposals to make changes to the December 10, 2010 CSTO agreement on the status of the formation of forces and equipment of the collective security system, and to the September 15, 2015 CSTO agreement on cooperation in the transportation of military and other groups, their moveable property, and items for military use," the statement said.
The consultations were held at the CSTO headquarters in Moscow on April 13-14, and focused "on organizing and carrying out flights/transit in CSTO members' airspace and international flights of CSTO national armed forces."
The consultations were attended by representatives from the relevant ministries and government agencies of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Secretariat, and the CSTO Joint Headquarters and Secretariat, the statement said.
