Kremlin unaware of French peace plan for Ukraine, has not received anything from Paris

MOSCOW. April 18 (Interfax) - Russia knows nothing about the existence of a French peace plan for Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"There have indeed been some reports saying that the French side announced certain elements [of a peace plan] during a visit to China, but these elements have not revealed themselves anywhere. We have no knowledge of the existence of a French plan, and, accordingly, we have not received anything from the French side," Peskov said.

At the request of journalists on Tuesday, Peskov was commenting on reports about France planning to present a peace plan for Ukraine to China.
