MOSCOW. April 18 (Interfax) - Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has named the participants in the meetings chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) and the Kherson region.
"In the Kherson region, the president spoke with and listened to reports by Dnieper group of forces commander Col. Gen. Oleg Makerevich, eastern group of forces commander Lt. Gen. Andrei Kuzmenko, and deputy commander of the joint group of forces Col. Gen. Mikhail Teplinsky," Peskov told reporters on Tuesday.
"The meeting in the Lugansk People's Republic was attended by southern group of forces commander Col. Gen. Sergei Kuzovlev, central group of forces commander Lt. Gen. Alexander Mordvichev, western group of forces commander Col. Gen. Yevgeny Nikiforov, and the deputy commander of the joint group of forces Col. Gen. Alexander Lapin. Commander of the Russian National Guard's contingent, Col Gen. Sergei Boiko, was also present," Peskov said.
