YEREVAN. April 19 (Interfax) - Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and Indian Ambassador to Armenia Nilakshi Saha Sinha discussed defense cooperation at a meeting in Yerevan on Wednesday.
"The meeting addressed a number of defense cooperation issues. Papikyan praised the current level of cooperation between Armenia and India and said that it had reached a new stage," the press service for the Armenian Defense Ministry said.
In turn, the Indian ambassador said New Delhi was ready to develop cooperation with Armenia.
"The sides also discussed regional security issues," the press service said.
