Kremlin: Ukraine may resort to provocations aimed at Belarus after Lukashenko's meeting with DPR head

MOSCOW. April 19 (Interfax) - The Kremlin believes Ukraine may resort to provocations aimed at Belarus in the wake of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko's meeting with acting head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin and Kiev's decision to recall its ambassador from Minsk, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"We've been paying attention. Provocations should not be ruled out," Peskov told journalists on Wednesday, when asked whether the Kremlin considered it possible that Ukraine might resort to provocative acts towards Belarus after recalling its ambassador from the country for consultations.
