Russian Supreme Court to process Justice Ministry's motion for liquidating PARNAS party on May 25

MOSCOW. April 19 (Interfax) - The Russian Justice Ministry has filed a motion for liquidating the People's Freedom Party (PARNAS) with the Supreme Court, and the motion will be processed on May 25, a Supreme Court judge said in a ruling.

The document was published on the Justice Ministry's website.

"The administrative motion from the Russian Justice Ministry for liquidating the People's Freedom Party (PARNAS) [...] is accepted for hearing by the Russian Supreme Court, as the court of original jurisdiction, and an administrative proceeding is opened," the ruling said.

"The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. on May 25, 2023, at the premises of the Russian Supreme Court," it said.
