Russian forces destroy Ukrainian army fuel depot in Konstantinovka, command post in Avdeyevka - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. April 19 (Interfax) - Russian forces have destroyed a pontoon bridge of the Ukrainian army across the Seversky Donets River, a fuel depot in Konstantinovka and a battalion command post in Avdeyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"A pontoon bridge crossing the Seversky Donets River built by the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the populated locality of Seversk Maly of the Donetsk People's Republic has been destroyed," Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said on Wednesday.

"A depot housing fuel for the military equipment of the 17th Tank Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been destroyed near Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic," he said.

"A battalion command and observation post of the 110th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been struck near the populated locality of Avdeyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic," he said.

In the past 24 hours, Russian aviation, missile troops and artillery of various groups of forces have struck 98 Ukrainian artillery units at their firing positions, and personnel and equipment in 133 areas, Konashenkov said.
