KRASNODAR. April 19 (Interfax) - The authorities of the Krasnodar Territory have decided to hold the Victory Parade on May 9 only in the hero city of Novorossiysk to fulfil all security measures, the press service for the territory's administration said on Tuesday.
"The Victory Parade will be held in the Krasnodar Territory only in the hero city of Novorossiysk on May 9. Such decision was made at a joint meeting of the permanent coordination meeting on ensuring law and order, the Anti-Terrorism Commission and the Operational Headquarters," the report said.
Ceremonies to lay down flowers to the monuments and memorials of military history will be held in every municipal entity of the Krasnodar Territory on May 9.
Concerts for veterans, events involving military reconstruction clubs and the work of ad hoc "frontline brigades" are also planned in the territory.
