HAVANA. April 20 (Interfax) - Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz plans to visit Russia in June to discuss economic ties, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said at a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Havana on Thursday.
"The Cuban prime minister will visit Russia in June with an extensive program for economic relations and the EAEU," Rodriguez said.
Lavrov in turn expressed satisfaction with the development of the two countries' political dialogue.
"We will continue to work jointly in the international arena to mobilize the countries that also reject the diktat [of the West] for joint efforts to create a multipolar world order in full conformity with the UN Charter, which contains a very important point: the UN was established on the principle of respecting the sovereign equality of nations," Lavrov said.
