MOSCOW. April 20 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed high appreciation for the work of Alexander Uss as Krasnoyarsk governor.
"I have just talked to the current governor, Alexander Viktorovich Uss. Yes, he has done a lot for the territory's development, there is no doubt about that, it's enough to take a look - as the current deputy finance minister of Russia, you can see what has happened with the region's finances over the past few years. I'm sure that the handover of responsibilities will occur in a businesslike and comradely fashion, and if needs be, you can always rely on what has been done already, on his expertise in managing the territory. I have no doubts here, [I know] that there will be a businesslike atmosphere," Putin said during a videoconference call with Mikhail Kotyukov, whom he offered the role of acting governor of Krasnoyarsk Territory to.
