Blasts of sea drones in Sevastopol break windows in 4 houses - governor

ROSTOV-ON-DON. April 24 (Interfax) - Windows in four residential buildings in Sevastopol were damaged because of blasts of marine drones last night, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said.

"Windows in four residential buildings were blown out by blasts of the destroyed enemy marine drones. No one was hurt," Razvozhayev wrote on Telegram.

The governor instructed his deputy Yevgeny Gorlov to calculate the damage and do the necessary repairs. Property management companies and emergency services are inspecting the territory in the Streletskaya Bay affected by the blasts, and glazing work is already underway, he said.

No drones entered the Streletskaya Bay itself, he said.

"Sevastopol's outer harbor is the water territory limited by the meridian of Cape Khersones, the parallel of the estuary of the Kacha River, and the coastline up to the inner harbor's boundaries, that is, before the blocked entrance to the bay, it's the outer harbor," he said.

No buildings, berths, or other infrastructure have been damaged by the blasts, Razvozhayev said.

An attempt to attack Sevastopol with marine drones was reported in the early hours of Monday. The governor said that one surface drone was destroyed in the outer harbor, and the other blew up itself.
