Ukrainian ammo depot destroyed near Stelmakhovka, LPR - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. April 24 (Interfax) - An ammo depot of the 92nd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been destroyed in the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a press briefing on Monday.

"An ammo depot of the 92nd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been destroyed near Stelmakhovka in the Lugansk People's Republic," Konashenkov said.

In the Krasny Liman sector, attack planes, army aviation and artillery from the central group of forces hit hostile troops and hardware near Chervonaya Dibrova and Chervonopopovka in the LPR, and Terny and Serebryanka in the DPR, he said.

Operations of two Ukrainian reconnaissance-and-sabotage groups were put to a stop near Terny.

"The enemy lost over 60 Ukrainian troops, two armored combat vehicles, three trucks, a D-20 howitzer and a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system," Konashenkov said.

In the southern Donetsk and Zaporozhye sectors, tactical aircraft, army aviation and artillery from the eastern group of forces hit hostile units near Ugledar (DPR) and Kamenskoye and Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporozhye region, he said.

Operations of two Ukrainian sabotage-and-reconnaissance groups were put to a stop near Novosyolka and Novomikhailovka, Konashenkov said.

"The enemy lost over 20 Ukrainian troops, two armored combat vehicles, three trucks and a D-20 howitzer in that area over the past day," he said.

In the Kherson sector, tactical aircraft and artillery killed up to 40 Ukrainian troops and destroyed an armored combat vehicle, two trucks, and a U.S.-made M777 artillery system in the past 24 hours, Konashenkov said.
