MOSCOW. April 24 (Interfax) - Russian forces have hit two Ukrainian ammo depots in the Zaporozhye region, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
"Two ammo depots of the 65th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the 102nd Territorial Defense Brigade were hit near Ravnopolye and Volnyansk in the Zaporozhye region," Konashenkov said at a press briefing on Monday.
"Tactical aircraft, army aviation, missile forces and artillery from the Russian Armed Forces' contingent hit 92 Ukrainian artillery units on firing positions, alongside troops and hardware in 126 areas," he said.
Two communication posts of the 65th Mechanized Brigade and the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were hit in the Zaporozhye region in the past 24 hours, Konashenkov said.
"A command-and-observation post of the 23rd Separate Rifle Battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was hit near Torskoye in the Donetsk People's Republic," he said.
