BISHKEK. April 25 (Interfax) - Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov is planning to pay an official visit to Russia on May 8, the Kyrgyz presidential press service said on Tuesday.
"Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov will pay an official visit to Russia on May 8 at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin," head of the Kyrgyz presidential administration's foreign policy department Muratbek Azymbakiyev said.
"Bilateral negotiations between Sadyr Japarov and Vladimir Putin are scheduled to take place during the upcoming visit. The heads of state will discuss the current bilateral and multilateral agendas and prospects for the further development of mutually advantageous cooperation," Azymbakiyev said.
Meetings with other Russian officials are also planned. Japarov will attend the Victory Day parade in Moscow on May 9 as a guest of honor.
