BEIJING/MOSCOW. April 26 (Interfax) - Chinese President Xi Jinping had a phone call with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on Wednesday, Chinese Foreign Minister Spokesperson Hua Chunying said.
"President Xi Jinping just spoke to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on the phone," Hua said on Twitter.
Media have pointed out that this has been the first conversation between the two leaders since February 2022.
Zelensky also commented on the call.
"I had a long and meaningful phone call with Chinese President Xi Jinping," Ukrainian media quoted Zelensky as saying on his social account on Wednesday.
