MOSCOW. April 26 (Interfax) - The Baltic Fleet it is conducting an exercise involving air defense and other events, the Russian military said.
"The exercise involves more than 1,000 troops, some ten warships, boats, supply vessels and more than 30 pieces of military and special equipment," according to a release issued by the Baltic Fleet's press service on Wednesday.
According to the fleet, the exercise will include "air defense and damage control drills, an exercise to solve crisis situations of a terrorist, natural and manmade nature in bases and military cities."
"The exercise is being conducted in accordance with the training plan of the Leningradskaya naval base for 2023," the release said.
