MOSCOW. April 27 (Interfax) - Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, who has arrived in Moscow on a working visit, and Director of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Alexander Bortnikov have discussed cooperation between regional services and the FSB.
"Alexander Vasilyevich [Bortnikov] and I discussed in detail issues concerning interaction between regional services and the federal agency with the aim of making them more efficient and productive. Alexander Vasilyevich thanked me for the stable situation in the region and for our work to ensure the security of the population," Kadyrov said on Telegram on Wednesday.
According to Kadyrov, Bortnikov said that Chechnya is today "one of the exemplary places in Russia" in terms of security.
Kadyrov also said that he has met with Russian presidential administration head Anton Vaino to discuss "internal policy, the region's interaction with the federal center and other key issues."
