MOSCOW. April 27 (Interfax) - The expulsion of Russian diplomats from a number of countries cannot go unanswered, as it provokes the further degradation of bilateral relations, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"Everything has degraded to the minimum that's possible. Every step, such as another expulsion of diplomats, narrows the base for a de facto continuation of diplomatic relations as such. Of course, this cannot go answered," Peskov told reporters.
"This is just another step provoking the further degradation of our relations," he said.
Peskov was commenting on the expulsion of Russian diplomats from a number of European countries, including Germany and Sweden.
