ISTANBUL. April 27 (Interfax) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by telephone with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Turkish media reported on Thursday.
"The president of Turkey thanked his Russian counterpart for the implementation of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant project," Anadolu Agency said.
The two leaders also spoke of Ukraine and the grain deal. As for Ukraine, according to the agency, "in his conversation with Putin, Erdogan did not rule out discussion of new initiatives," including a proposal to set up a working group.
