MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax) - The Russian Armed Forces have delivered a missile strike on a command post of the Ukrainian army in Kupyansk of the Kharkov region, spokesperson for the western group of forces Yaroslav Yakimkin said.
"The missile strike destroyed an enemy command post in the town of Kupyansk. The enemy's losses amounted to about 30 troops," Yakimkin said.
Apart from that, Russian artillery fire destroyed the Ukrainian Armed Forces' mortar section near Ivanovka and two observation posts near the villages of Stelmakhovka and Novosyolovskoye, he said.
"During operations in the Kupyansk sector, personnel of the western group of forces detected and eliminated three enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups from the 14th and 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigades near the populated localities of Masyutovka and Novosyolovskoye over the past day. Two attempts to rotate troops near the populated locality of Dvurechnoye were thwarted," the spokesperson said.
