U.S. info about Russian casualties in Ukraine 'pulled out of hat' - Kremlin

MOSCOW. May 2 (Interfax) - The United States does not have accurate information about Russian casualties in the Ukraine conflict, and the information about 100,000 dead or injured "is pulled out of a hat," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"It is absolutely pulled out of a hat," Peskov told reporters in response to a request for the Kremlin's comment on U.S. information, according to which Russia lost 100,000 men either killed or wounded in the Ukraine conflict over the past five months.

"Washington is unable to provide any specific numbers, they do not have such information, and this is how it should be taken," Peskov said.
