MOSCOW. May 2 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry has voiced a strong protest regarding the situation with the Russian embassy school in Warsaw to Polish charge d'affaires ad interim in Moscow Jacek Sladewski on Tuesday, the ministry said in a statement on its website.
"Polish charge d'affaires ad interim in Russia Jacek Sladewski was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry on May 2, and a strong protest was voiced in connection with the seizure of a school of the Russian embassy to Poland by Polish law enforcement officials on April 29," the statement said.
This is "a flagrant violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961," it said.
Such moves by Warsaw "will not go unanswered, and the response will be prompt," the ministry said.
