Death toll from Ukrainian strike on Tokmak in Zaporozhye region rises to five - district administration

ROSTOV-ON-DON. May 2 (Interfax) - Five people have died and 15 have suffered injuries of various degrees of severity in a Ukrainian army strike on Tokmak in the Zaporozhye region, the district administration told reporters on Tuesday.

"According to the updated information, five civilians were killed and 15 were wounded in a Ukrainian army attack on Tokmak on May 1," the administration said.

Two deaths were reported on Monday.

A residential building, five private houses, a bar, a gas pipeline, and a power transmission line sustained serious damage. There is still no power supply to 2,650 households, and there is no gas supply to 250.

Repairs are in progress.
