BRUSSELS. May 2 (Interfax) - Denmark will provide assistance totaling 227.5 million euros to Ukraine, which will include supplies of military hardware and financial aid, Western media outlets said on Tuesday, citing a Danish Defense Ministry statement.
In particular, Kiev will receive de-mining machines and ammunition, as well as funding to purchase air defense systems, the statement said.
Danish Foreign Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen said that the new tranche of military aid is the largest provided by Denmark to Ukraine so far. Overall, Copenhagen has provided military assistance worth more than 1.4 billion euros to Kiev, he said.
