BRYANSK. May 2 (Interfax) - A freight train has come off its rails in the Bryansk region, Russian Railways said on Telegram.
"Today, at 7:47 p.m., on a non-electrified, one-track stretch of railway between Snezhetskaya and Belyie Berega in the Bryansk region, illegal interference in railway operations caused a locomotive and around 20 freight railcars to derail," the post said.
It is believed that no one was injured and no fire occurred.
Local fire crews are working at the scene; a firefighting train and two maintenance trains are also on the way there.
Train services between Snezhetskaya and Belyie Berega have been suspended.
