BISHKEK. May 3 (Interfax) - Russia has facilitated the evacuation of six Kyrgyz citizens from Sudan, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry's press service said on Wednesday.
"Six citizens of Kyrgyzstan have been evacuated from Sudan, by the Khartoum - Moscow route, amid the ongoing hostilities in Sudan, as a result of combined efforts of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, the Kyrgyz embassy to Saudi Arabia, and the Russian embassy in Khartoum," the press service said.
The Kyrgyz citizens departed for Bishkek upon arrival in Moscow on an evacuation flight organized by the Russian government, it said.
Seven Kyrgyz citizens, including three in the employ of the UN mission in Khartoum, were evacuated from Sudan earlier.
