Zelensky denies Ukraine's involvement in drone incident over Kremlin

BRUSSELS. May 3 (Interfax) - Kiev had nothing to do with the attempted drone attack on the Russian president's Kremlin residence, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said on Wednesday.

"We don't attack Putin or Moscow. We fight on our territory. We are defending our villages and cities," The Associated Press quoted Zelensky as saying at a press conference in Helsinki.

The Russian presidential press service earlier said an attempted drone attack on the president's Kremlin residence had been made in the early hours of Wednesday. The president was not hurt, it said.

"Last night, the Kiev regime attempted to strike the Kremlin residence of the Russian president using unmanned aerial vehicles," the statement said.

According to the statement, the drones were incapacitated.
