Security already tightened following drone incident over Kremlin - Peskov

MOSCOW. May 4 (Interfax) - Security measures will be tightened after an attempted drone strike on the Russian president's Kremlin residence, especially during the May 9 military parade, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"Of course, everything will be strengthened. In fact, everything has already been reinforced - and in the light of preparations for the Victory Day parade. In general, the presidential residence is guarded," Peskov told reporters on Thursday when asked whether extra security measures are planned following the attempted drone attack on the Russian president's Kremlin residence.

"But how, in what way [security measures will be tightened] is a matter for in-depth analysis by our specialists, they are doing their job," Peskov said.
