MOSCOW. May 4 (Interfax) - The timeframe of the completion of an investigation into the drone attack on the Kremlin depends on law enforcement agencies, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
While talking to journalists, he was asked about the current stage of the investigation into the drone incident and when its findings could be published.
"You know that the Investigative Committee, the necessary services are dealing with all of this. I cannot tell you when to expect the results. This depends on them," Peskov said.
At the same time, he noted that "what happened is subject to a very thorough, prompt investigation."
When asked about the situation in the Kremlin after Wednesday's terror attack, Peskov said, "The situation is business-like, everyone is working, everyone is in their place."
When asked why the attack on the Kremlin was not reported during Wednesday afternoon's conference call, Peskov said, "Yesterday, when we spoke to you, the security services were still rapidly assessing [the situation] and so on, so we decided to issue a statement separately afterwards."
Peskov also said that he had no information from which territory, Russia or Ukraine, the drones were launched, as well as their specific modification.
"The investigators will deal with this. I don't know that, it's not my job," he added.
