Peskov doesn't rule out further contacts with Washington

MOSCOW. May 5 (Interfax) - Russia stands ready for contacts with the United States to ensure its own interests are met, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"Of course, any contacts are possible, and if need be, contacts will certainly continue in order to achieve our goals and ensure our interests [are met]," Peskov said when asked by reporters whether certain contacts are still possible between Moscow and Washington following the drone attack on the Kremlin which, as the Russian side believes, the U.S. was involved in.
