Kremlin declines to specify possibility of Russian-Armenian summit

MOSCOW. May 5 (Interfax) - Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declined to specify the possibility of summit-level negotiations between Russia and Armenia on Friday, saying it would be premature to talk about it, but noted that certain plans were being discussed.

"Let us not get ahead of ourselves. Certain plans are being discussed, and we will make relevant announcements once this discussion is finalized. For now, we think it would be premature," Peskov told the press on Friday, in response to a question as to whether a Russian-Armenian summit or trilateral talks between Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan were planned for next week.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Thursday that he was planning to visit Moscow next week.
