KURSK. May 10 (Interfax) - Air defense has been activated near Kursk, and a drone has been downed, according to governor of the Russian Kursk region Roman Starovoit.
"Air defense downed a hostile drone near Kursk early this morning. Its fragments fell in the village of Tolmachevo," Starovoit said on Telegram.
There are no casualties, yet a gas pipe and a house facade are damaged, he said.
Operative services are working at the site, Starovoit said.
A yellow (high) level of terrorist alert in the Kursk region has been on since April 11, 2022. The region, which borders Ukraine, has repeatedly come under attack.
