MOSCOW. May 10 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree lifting the ban on flights from Russia to Georgia.
The decree, which is available on the official online database of legal information, scraps presidential decree 287 On Certain Measures to Ensure the Russian Federation's National Security and Protect Citizens of the Russian Federation from Criminal and Other Unlawful Deeds dated June 21, 2019.
Decree 287 temporarily prohibited Russian airlines from performing flights, including commercial ones, from the Russian Federation to Georgia.
The document also recommended that travel operators and travel agents refrain from selling travel packages including such flights to citizens while the ban remained in effect.
