Putin not planning to hold traditional military meetings for now - Peskov

MOSCOW. May 11 (Interfax) - A traditional series of military meetings chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin is not planned so far, as the special military operation puts particular strain on representatives of the Defense Ministry and the defense industry, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"They will be held when the president deems them relevant," Peskov told reporters in response to a related question.

"The situation has changed. Of course, this is taken into account during planning. There are no such plans so far," Peskov said.

According to him, the special military operation "puts particular strain on representatives of the Defense Ministry and the defense industry."

"This does not allow, does not give a chance to gather in Sochi, while leaving workplaces unattended," he said.
