MOSCOW. May 15 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed an order on fast-track naturalization for foreign citizens who sign contracts with the Russian Armed Forces during the special military operation.
The document was published on the official website of legal information on Monday.
The amendments will be made to the presidential order of September 30, 2022, "On Fast-Track Naturalization of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons who Sign Military Service Contracts."
In particular, the document will be supplemented with a provision on naturalization for the family members of such individuals.
Paragraph A of the order now has a new edition, stating that fast-track naturalization applies to "foreign citizens who sign year-long military service contracts with the Russian Armed Forces or military formations during the special military operation."
